Petros has been collaborating with Google Greece and TedxAthens, and has recently started working with Eurobank, FoxHellas, NewBalance and Columbia. He is the winner of the famous SWPP competition where he was awarded the title of “Contemporary Portrait Photographer of the Year” in 2011.

He is a member of AxionHellas and he frequently travels around Greece in order to photographically capture the pain and poverty of the people who struggle with survival.

His work has a lot of variety while solo and group exhibitions have taken place in the most important galleries in Athens.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Petros views photography as an art which creates new dimensions and tries to approach the non earthy and the unreal, and questions reality while trying to answer those questions in a selfless act.

He is an abstract and exceptional tamer of natural light who manages to create intense feelings in his viewers through the spontaneous content of his images.

The viewers become part of the story in the photographs.

He uses photography as a medium which deconstructs his personal thoughts and experiences in an effort to build the translation of his personal “inner being” to a catholic language.

In other words, using a language which is easily understood by the viewer without the need for the artist be present.
